Visitor analytics

SwissElo records limited visitor information to understand site use and diagnose problems.

• Full IP address, visit time, and approximate city/region/country inferred from the network address.
• The US Chess player profiles opened from that address.
• Raw IP and lookup records are deleted after 30 days.
• Anonymous daily visitor totals are retained for up to 3 years. These totals cannot be used to recover an IP address.

This information is visible only in the private administrator dashboard. No precise device location is collected.
